Job summary

NSW Department of Education seeks an Assistant Principal Learning and Support to coordinate support across the West Wyalong principal network and 18 schools. You will lead evidence-based programs delivering enhanced outcomes for students with additional learning needs across multiple sites.

The role requires strong educational leadership, collaboration with school personnel, and capacity to design inclusive teaching. Permanent part-time posting with flexible FTE expectations is offered.

Qualifications

• Approval to teach students with learning and support needs in primary/secondary.
• Ability to provide specialist advice to school personnel across multiple schools.
• Liaise with Team Around a School for coordinated support delivery.
• Deliver professional learning to schools to improve student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and wellbeing for students with additional needs across a network.
• Develop and implement adjusted programs in regular classes.
• Collaborate with schools to prioritise and deliver targeted assistance.
• Provide specialist advice to teachers and school staff.
