Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for a School Senior Leadership position to support the Principal in building Catholic life, student engagement and wellbeing, and sustaining a transparent, accountable school community.
The role requires extensive leadership experience in Catholic education, a strong background in curriculum and assessment, and a commitment to equity and safeguarding within BCE policies.
Qualifications
- Experience in senior leadership roles in Catholic schools or equivalent.
- Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.
- You are required to be Catholic for this position.
Responsabilités
- Model and embed a contemporary Catholic worldview within curriculum design, pedagogy and assessment practices.
- Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of a compliant whole-school curriculum aligned with BCE frameworks and system expectations.
- Lead the development of high‑impact pedagogical practices that improve student learning outcomes across all year levels.
- Oversee the development and implementation of assessment frameworks that are aligned with QCAA and BCE expectations.
- Collaborate with inclusive education leaders to ensure curriculum access and participation for all learners.

- Work Hours: 30 per week
- Salary: $149,763 - $157,120 + 12.75% super (commensurate with experience)
- Status: This is a substantive 5 year appointment as Assistant Principal Administration (APA) (with a further 5 years offer subject to a positive review), plus underlying continuing teaching status.

Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for this School Senior Leadership position with the capability to support the Principal in:
- building the religious life of the school and a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community;
- growing the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and
- building a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance.
- Model and embed a contemporary Catholic worldview within curriculum design, pedagogy and assessment practices.
- Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of a compliant whole-school curriculum aligned with BCE frameworks and system expectations.
- Lead the development of high-impact pedagogical practices that improve student learning outcomes across all year levels.
- Oversee the development and implementation of assessment frameworks that are aligned with QCAA and BCE expectations.
- Collaborate with inclusive education leaders to ensure curriculum access and participation for all learners, including students with diverse needs.
- Work collaboratively as a member of the Campus Leadership Team to align teaching and learning priorities with BCE strategic direction.
- Ensure all curriculum, assessment and reporting practices comply with BCE policies, QCAA requirements and legislative expectations.
- Ensure clear, timely and professional communication with parents and caregivers regarding student learning progress and curriculum matters.
- Contribute to whole-school strategic planning, improvement agendas and review processes aligned with BCE frameworks.
- Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
- Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.
- You are required to be Catholic for this position.
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
- For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
