Job summary

RACQ Insurance is seeking an experienced Underwriting Officer to join the Distribution Support team in Meanjin (Brisbane). This full-time, max-term role focuses on applying underwriting expertise to assess risks, support decisions, and provide high-quality service to customers and colleagues.

You will work from our Eight-Mile Plains office and contribute across policy administration, renewals, endorsements, and remediation responses, helping to safeguard members and communities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and adaptable with excellent time management.

We're looking for an experienced Underwriting Officer to join our Distribution Support team within Insurance Product & Distribution. In this role, you'll apply specialist underwriting knowledge to assess risks, support complex underwriting decisions, and deliver high-quality service and advice to both internal and external customers. This is a 6-12 month max-term full-time role based at our Eight-Mile Plains office in Meanjin (Brisbane).

What You'll Do

• Respond to remediation queries from customers and internal stakeholders

• Update policies including endorsements and corrections
