Job summary

PILOT Body Corporate is seeking a capable property manager to oversee a portfolio of about 40 small OCs in Mornington. You will be the first point of contact for owners and committees, handling phones and in-person inquiries with independence from early on.

This role requires a hands-on professional comfortable with AGMs, renewals, coordination of maintenance, and collaboration with admin and accounts. A hybrid work setup is available after an initial trial period.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in residential or commercial property management, strata/OC management, or a similar client-facing property role.
• Confident on the phone and in person with unhappy clients and running meetings.
• Organised, a clear writer, and good with Microsoft Office and AI tools.
• Driver licence and own car; willing to complete a national police check.

Job description

You'll be the first person our owners and committees speak to, on the phone and in person, and you'll run your own portfolio of about 40 small OCs (3–5 lots each). We need someone who looks after clients well and can work independently from early on.

Key responsibilities

• Answer phones and look after office visitors as the main point of contact
• Run your portfolio: 40 annual general meetings (AGMs) and 40 insurance renewals a year
• Coordinate maintenance, quotes and contractors
• Work with our admin and accounts team, who handle the back-office processing and production

About you

• 3+ years in residential or commercial property management, strata/OC management, or a similar client-facing property role
• Confident on the phone, face to face with unhappy clients, and running meetings
• Organised, a clear writer, and good with Microsoft Office and AI tools
• Driver licence and own car; willing to complete a national police check
• Your own mobile phone for work use (bring your own device)
• Able to work set business hours and attend evening AGMs as required
