Job summary

PCYC Queensland is seeking a passionate Fun Squad Assistant Service Manager to help lead the Fun Squad Service and support the Service Manager in daily operations. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety, compliance, and positive member experiences at PCYC Hamilton Fun Squad.

The role focuses on building strong stakeholder relationships, upholding government regulations, and contributing to the organisation’s community impact, while fostering a respectful and inclusive

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in childhood studies or equivalent and working towards a Diploma.
• Must hold one of the specified child protection certificates.
• Ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary Fun Squad team
• Knowledge of relevant legislation governing Fun Squad operations
• Working with Children Check/Blue Card or ability to obtain
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager to lead and manage the service ensuring operations align with regulations and organisational requirements.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to strengthen PCYC Queensland brand.
• Foster a culture of safety and inclusivity across the service and team.

AboutYou

• MinimumCertificate III in childhood studies or other qualificationsrecognised by the regulatory authority AND working towards aDiploma in childhood studies or other qualifications recognisedby the regulatory authority
• Must hold one ofthe following child protection certificates: CHCPRT025 -Identify and report children and young people at risk,CHCPRT026 - Support the rights and safety of children and youngpeople, or CHCECE057 - Use collaborative practices to upholdchild protection principles
• Ability to leadand manage a multidisciplinary Fun Squad team
• Demonstratedknowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing FunSquad operations
• Hold a Workingwith Children Check/Blue Card (or able to obtain)
• Hold a currentFirst Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
