Job summary

Waitara Anglican is seeking a part-time assistant minister (3–4 days per week) to aid our mission to reach and nurture a diverse community in Waitara, NSW.

The successful candidate will work in a team, support local evangelism, and strengthen our ministry as part of a parish network that values godly character and evangelical conviction.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate godly character and evangelical convictions.
• The candidate should have completed theological training.
• Experience in ministry within a team setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner in local evangelism efforts and community outreach.
• Strengthen and support the church's existing ministry programs.

Waitara Anglican church is seeking a part-time (3 or 4 days per week) assistant minister to aid us in our mission to create a community from many ages and cultures that helps people meet Jesus, trust Jesus and grow more like Jesus. While there is some flexibility in the job description, our desire is to partner with someone who can further our efforts in local evangelism and strengthen our existing ministry. The successful candidate will:

• be of godly character;
• hold evangelical convictions;
• have completed some theological training;
• have relevant ministry experience in a team setting.

Remuneration will be in line with diocesan recommendations, including a partial housing benefit.
