SkyCity Adelaide is seeking an experienced hospitality leader to join as Assistant Manager – Sol, working alongside the Venue Manager to deliver exceptional food & beverage experiences and ensure the Sol outlet meets guest expectations.

You will lead and develop your team, set floor standards, and champion service excellence while building a culture known for outstanding hospitality across the venue. This role also entails operational duties and cost control.

Job description

SkyCity is now looking for an experienced hospitality leader to dive into this amazing opportunity as our Assistant Manager – Sol.

About the opportunity

As the Assistant Manager, you’ll work side by side with the Venue Manager to bring your food and beverage expertise to life, ensuring we always offer the right products for our guests and that our team has the knowledge, confidence, and skill to elevate the Sol experience at every touchpoint.

You’ll lead and develop your team by setting the standard on the floor, championing exceptional service, and building a culture where your outlet is known for delivering the best hospitality in town. Your strong business acumen and guest focused approach will help maximise value and drive financial performance across the venue.

You’ll also take ownership of key operational responsibilities including staff rostering, team recruitment, performance management, cost control, and health and safety ensuring the team operates smoothly, efficiently, and in line with organisational standards.

About you

You will be a natural leader with a real flair and passion for all things food & beverage. You will have strong business acumen allowing you to support the Venue Manager in the administrative portion of this role and have a basic understanding of employment and health & safety practices. You will possess extensive product knowledge and have prior leadership experience in a busy, high end bar or restaurant either locally, interstate or overseas.
