The Post Sentence Branch provides oversight of Victoria's post-sentence scheme, supporting the management of serious sex and violent offenders subject to ongoing supervision or detention under the Serious Offenders Act 2018.
The Multi Agency Panel brings together executive representatives from DJCS, the Department of Health, the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, and Victoria Police to coordinate service responses, manage risk, and resolve complex cross-agency issues.
The Multi-Agency Panel Secretariat supports the effective and efficient operation of the Multi-Agency Panel and acts as a central point for information sharing and interdepartmental liaison. The Secretariat is responsible for coordinating service planning, supporting complex case management arrangements, and facilitating the resolution of service gaps and escalations.
Reporting to the Manager, Multi-Agency Panel Secretariat, the Assistant Manager plays a key leadership role, working collaboratively with senior stakeholders across government agencies to support the operation of the Panel and improve outcomes for individuals with complex needs. The role requires highly developed stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to navigate complex legislative and service delivery environments.
