Job summary

Sonnell Hospitality is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for The Australian Hotel & Brewery in Sydney. This is a full-time role supporting the Venue Manager, leading shifts, upholding service standards, ensuring compliance, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

The position offers a salary of $85,000 plus Super, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for hires starting October or November 2026, plus ongoing leadership development across Sonnel venues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality
• Current RSA, ARCG and RCG certifications
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support a team
• Hands-on, community-first approach to service and guest experience
• Excellent communication skills and a calm head under pressure
• Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
