ALH Hotels seeks an Assistant Manager for the Iron Horse Inn in Cardiff, NSW. This hands-on role involves assisting the Publican, leading a team, and delivering exceptional hospitality for locals and sports fans.

Base salary is $80,000 plus super, with a bonus scheme and group-wide discounts. A current RSA/RCG/ARCGas is required; physical duties and lifting are part of regular duties. Grow with ALHHotels within Endeavour Group.

Qualifications

Located in the heart of Cardiff, the Iron Horse Inn is a true local favorite for families, sports fans, and everyone in between. Our welcoming pub features a lively Sports Bar with large screens, great tap beers, and a menu full of hearty pub classics. A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think youre part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You 0ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You 1ve learned from great managers and now you 0re ready to step up
• You 1ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You 1ve got a current RSA, RCG and ARCGas per state requirements
