Job summary

Eureka Hotel in Salisbury is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a busy hospitality team and help run the pub with energy and excellence. You’ll supervise front- and back-of-house staff, ensure safe, smooth operations, and elevate guest experiences across the bar and bistro.

Base salary is $80,000 plus super, bonus scheme, and group-wide discounts. A hands-on role with physical duties and a focus on community engagement awaits the right candidate.

• Experience supervising teams in a hospitality setting.
• RSA/RSG/RP Badge as per state requirements.

Assistant Manager | Eureka Hotel

We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Eureka Hotelbuzzing and loved by the locals.

A Salisbury favorite, The Eureka Tavern is a vibrant community pub featuring a high-volume family bistro, an indoor playground, and a traditional local bar. We’re known for great value, friendly service, and a welcoming, family-first atmosphere.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA, RSG and RP Badgeas per state requirements
