Job summary

The Rex Hotel is seeking an Assistant Manager to help keep the venue buzzing in Marleston, minutes from Adelaide Airport and the CBD. You will support a Publican, lead a hospitality team, and ensure safe, lively operations across the bar, bistro, and function spaces.

You’ll be the face of the pub when the boss is away, bring energy and excellent guest service, and comply with RSA, RSG, and RP badge requirements. Great benefits and career growth within Endeavour Group await.

Qualifications

• Hands-on role with manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties.
• Experience supervising in bar, bistro or gaming room preferred.
• RSA, RSG and RP Badge as per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Get to know locals so well they feel part of the crew and welcome guests.
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe.
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of hospo colleagues.
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches.
• Bring energy, service, and smiles on every shift.
