Job summary

BDO in Sydney is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our growing Business Services team. You will provide professional accounting and taxation services to a diverse client base, including medium-sized businesses, private family groups, and high net worth individuals.

You will supervise and mentor junior staff, deliver BAS, payroll tax, and advisory services, and build strong client relationships through trusted guidance. CA/CPA qualification and Australian tax knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Assistant Manager or Supervisor role in professional services.
• CA/CPA qualified with strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior team members to enhance technical and professional growth.
• Provide pro-active accounting, taxation, compliance (BAS, FBT, payroll tax) and commercial solutions for clients.
• Develop client relationships through exceptional service delivery and trusted advice.
