Job summary

Moore Australia Darwin is seeking an Assistant Manager or Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Darwin. You will work with a diverse range of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and advisory services while mentoring junior staff and handling complex engagements.

You will utilise Xero, MYOB and Reckon APS, prepare financial statements and tax returns, and provide practical, commercial advice to clients.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified accountant or actively working towards qualification.
• Public practice experience.
• Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts and annual financial reports across diverse industries.
• Utilise Xero, MYOB and Reckon APS for financial data management and reporting.
• Calculate and reconcile Payroll Tax and Workers Compensation Insurance.
• Manage client relationships and provide practical, commercial advice.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and assist with workflow management.
