Job summary

Moore Australia Darwin is seeking an Assistant Manager or established Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team. You will work with a diverse range of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and business advisory services, while mentoring junior staff.

You will prepare financial statements, management reports, cash flow forecasts and tax returns, using Xero, MYOB and Reckon APS, and provide practical commercial advice to help clients grow.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA or CPA with public practice accounting experience.
• Strong technical accounting and taxation knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Prepare management accounts, cash flow forecasts and annual financial reports across various industries.
• Produce, interpret and maintain financial information using Xero, MYOB and Reckon APS.
• Manage client relationships and provide practical, commercial advice.
• Review junior team members' work and provide coaching and technical guidance.
• Assist with workflow management and engagement delivery.
