Job summary

Moore Australia Darwin is seeking an Assistant Manager or established Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory team in Darwin. You will work with a diverse range of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, taxation and business advisory services while mentoring junior staff.

You will prepare financial statements, management reports, cash flow forecasts and tax returns, using Xero, MYOB and Reckon APS, and provide practical commercial advice to help clients grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level accounting degree or equivalent.
• Experience in Business Advisory or SME accounting preferred.
• Strong communication and client-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for clients.
• Produce management reports and cash flow forecasts.
• Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Provide practical commercial advice to help clients grow.
• Mentor and supervise junior staff within the team.
