Hoopla Kitchen & Bar Bayswater pty ltd in Bayswater VIC seeks an Assistant Venue Manager to support daily operations and lead a 60+ staff team in a busy family entertainment venue. Working with the Venue Manager, you’ll oversee shifts, assist with rostering, onboard and coach staff, handle guest enquiries and ensure safety, cleanliness and service standards.

Competenze

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Duty Manager or Supervisor in hospitality or busy environments.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage 60+ staff.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, public holidays and school holidays.

Join Hoopla as an Assistant Venue Manager, supporting daily operations and helping lead a team of 60+ staff in a busy family entertainment venue. Working closely with the Venue Manager, you'll keep shifts running smoothly, support staff across all departments and ensure every guest receives great service. You must be comfortable taking charge of the venue in the Venue Manager's absence.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Venue Manager with daily operations across reception, attractions, parties and food and beverage service
• Confidently lead shifts, delegate tasks and coordinate a large team during busy trade
• Assist with rostering, staffing levels and managing last-minute absences
