Job summary

Pact Group is seeking an Assistant Leading Hand to support the shift Leading Hand in the production hall. You will coordinate the production team, operate machinery, test products, and adjust processes to keep output within specifications.

This role requires a hands-on attitude, focus on safety and quality, and availability to work the 07:00–15:00 weekday shift. NSW-based site offers stable hours and opportunities to grow in a large, sustainable packaging business.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation experience; blow moulding experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and trouble-shooting ability
• Able to perform minor machine adjustments with hand tools
• Strong safety focus and commitment to process improvements
• Reliability, punctuality and willingness to work weekends

Responsibilities

• Assigning and coordinating the tasks for their shift production team
• Machine operation; ensure machines operate efficiently and produce conforming product
• Conducting product testing and making the necessary process adjustments
• Comply with WHS requirements, Food Safety requirements and Quality Standards
• Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
