Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a compassionate care professional for permanent part-time night duty at Mercy Place Cairns (Bethlehem). You will provide resident care per care plans, maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with staff for assessments and classifications.

Essential you have excellent clinical and communication skills, are organized, resilient and patient-centered. Evidence of current influenza vaccination and required clearances is needed.

Job Responsibilities

• To provide care to residents in accordance with care plans, Aged Care Standards and policies and procedures of Mercy Health.
• To provide accurate and timely documentation relevant to resident care.
• To work in consultation with other staff to provide relevant and timely information required for RCS assessment and classification.
• Participation in the quality process.

Required Evidence

• A current Police Record Check and NDIS worker clearance
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
