Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join the Mater Mothers team in a permanent, part-time role working 32 hours per week. Based at the Springfield campus, the position offers salary range of $35.05 - $38.38 per hour, plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 plus staff benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or working towards completion.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centred care and safety standards.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic clinical environment.

Aufgaben

• Support patients with activities of daily living and promote comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
• Provide one-to-one patient support and assist with patient supervision where required.
• Assist clinical teams to deliver safe and effective patient care under delegation and supervision.
• Maintain clinical stock levels and support equipment cleaning and general upkeep.
• Assist with transport of specimens, documentation and other patient-related items.
• Support a clean, safe and organised environment in line with infection prevention and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maintain a collaborative team culture.
