Job summary

Selection Criteria

• Current Health Service Assistant Certificate III (Acute Care) or equivalent, or having recent equivalent experience or have completed 1 or more year's training as an undergraduate nursing student.
• Demonstrated understanding of delegation and ability to work within a plan of care under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
• Demonstrated ability to provide person-centered care in a manner that respects the rights of individuals and groups in the context of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills. through the use of information technology, written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations by managing own emotional responses and interacting with others in a personable and professional manner.
• Evidence of participation in personal development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills.

This is a Category A position.
