About the Role

As an Assistant in Nursing, you’ll provide essential support to patients and the nursing team, helping deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care. You’ll work under the guidance of Registered Nurses while developing your knowledge, skills and confidence within a supportive clinical environment.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting patients with personal care, mobility and daily activities.
  • Assisting with patient comfort, communication and wellbeing needs.
  • Providing care within your scope of practice.
  • Supporting nurses with clinical tasks, procedures and equipment preparation.
  • Working collaboratively with nurses and the broader multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care.
About You

We’re looking for motivated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about caring for others and eager to develop their healthcare skills.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to patient-centred care.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
  • A willingness to learn, take guidance and contribute positively to the patient experience.
  • Certificate III Assistant in Nursing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate Registered Nursing degree (completion of first year and first semester or trimester of second year) or currently enrolled in a TAFE NSW Diplomas of Nursing (completion of identified foundational units in practice AND 80 hours of clinical placement).
