Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families – Buderim Private Hospital is seeking an Assistant in Nursing for the casual pool at Buderim Hospital. You will provide safe, holistic care under supervision and support clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (or be in the first year of nursing studies), be able to work a flexible rotating roster, and commit to vaccinations and checks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or completed 1st Year Bachelor of Nursing studies.
• Ability to work a flexible rotating roster.
• Knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Minimum of 12 Months' experience in an acute/hospital setting.
• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospital infection control requirements and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and holistic care within your scope of practice to individuals and their families.
• Complete a range of non-clinical support tasks, supporting the Specialists and Clinical Staff to deliver patient-centred care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team

You will be accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care within your scope of practice to individuals and their families, supporting clinical staff as directed to achieve an environment for optimal patient outcomes.

You'll complete a range of non-clinical support tasks, providing support to the Specialists and Clinical Staff, delivering an exceptional patient-centred experience by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team.
