Veriu Macquarie Park is expanding with a flagship property in Sydney’s northwest. Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will lead daily operations and uphold our culture of ownership and service excellence. The role offers long-term career growth within an Australian-owned hotel group.

Qualifications

• Approved Australian working rights required.
• First Aid Certificate required or obtainable before starting.

Responsibilities

• Manage hotel presentation, compliance and daily operations in line with Veri-Best Framework.
• Proactive recruitment, onboarding, training, development and management of Veriu people.
• Drive engagement with value-aligned culture to enable strategic goals.
• Embed Veriu Group sales philosophy, including data capture and opportunity exploration.
• Optimize guest satisfaction and experience at the hotel.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in the hotel's operations success. You'll bring to life a culture that sets people up for success and lead by example with kindness.

Your responsibilities include:

• The successful management of hotel presentation, compliance, and daily operations in line with ourVeri-Best Framework
• Proactive recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and management of talented Veriu people

About You

We work in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, so we’re looking for people who are adaptable, enjoy variety and operate with an ownership mindset.

The successful person must have:

• Approved Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a Visa with approved working rights)
• First Aid Certificate (or be able to obtain before starting)
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate(or be able to obtain before starting)
• Demonstrated experience leading a team with kindness in order to achieve outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to resolve problemscompaints
• High standards of attention to detail and communication skills (written & verbal)
• Experience managing people in a customer service environment
