Job summary

GO.FARM is seeking an Assistant Grove Manager to join our team and help establish a high-density olive development. Working with the Grove Manager, you will shape systems, culture and day-to-day operations from the ground up.

You will support planning, supervision of orchard staff, and adoption of new technologies to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on, formative role in a growing agricultural enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience in horticulture, agriculture, or orchard operations.
• Experience leading or supervising people.
• Current driver's licence.
• Chemical accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute orchard operations: land prep, irrigation, nutrition, pest and weed control.
• Coordinate and supervise daily activities of orchard employees and contractors.
• Monitor and maintain orchard infrastructure, machinery, irrigation systems and equipment.
• Assist with budget management, reporting and operational planning.
• Promote a safe, productive, and positive team culture.
• Work with the Orchard Manager to achieve production, quality and financial targets.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and new tech adoption.
• Represent GO.FARM with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as required

About the role:

We're looking for an Assistant Grove Manager to join our team and help establish one of GO.FARM's newest high-density olive developments. With the first trees planted in 2025 and development continuing through to 2028, this is a unique opportunity to be involved from the very beginning. Working alongside the Grove Manager, you'll help shape the systems, culture and day-to-day operations of a modern olive enterprise while contributing to its long-term success.

In this role, you will:

• Base salary between $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
• Short Term Incentive (STI) of up to 10% of your salary
