Job summary

Queensland Cotton Corporation Pty Ltd in Wee Waa, NSW, is seeking a hardworking Assistant Ginner or Ginner to join a small hands-on team across production and maintenance.

You will supervise a seasonal team, help keep production safe and efficient, monitor plant performance, carry out repairs and maintenance, and support safe work practices. Prior ginning experience is valued but not essential; training is provided, with opportunities to build cotton ginning knowledge.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a hardworking, reliable and mechanically minded individual for a permanent Assistant Ginner or Ginner role at our Wee Waa Cotton Gin. You'll be part of a small, hands-on team, working across production, maintenance and day-to-day plant activities.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise a seasonal team during day or night shifts
• Help keep production running safely, efficiently and to required quality standards
• Monitor plant performance and respond to breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime
• Carry out repairs, preventative maintenance and off-season plant preparation

About you

Ginning experience would be highly regarded, but it is not essential. We also encourage applications from people with mechanical trade, maintenance, farming, machinery or production experience. If you are practical, safety-focused and willing to learn, we can provide training.
