Job summary

Alpha Mine Site Services & Construction seeks an Assistant Facility Manager to support camp village operations on a FIFO/DIDO roster. Based near Toowoomba, you will supervise staff, manage rosters, ensure safety/HACCP compliance, and step in during Camp Manager absences.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing/supervising staff.
• Experience with rostering.
• Knowledge of booking systems.
• Approved managers certification required.
• Manual Driver's License.
• White Card.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical and drug screen.
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months (or willing to obtain one).
• Safe Food Handling Certificate preferred.
• FIFO/DIDO experience preferred.
• Forklift ticket preferred.
• HACCP compliance.

Job description

Alpha is a resources industry village hospitality and food services provider. We operate villages accross Australia. We are looking for amazing Assistant Facility Managers. This is a full time/permanent position it attracts all the benefits such as annual leave, sick leave, long service leave, etc…

The swing is 2 weeks on and 1 week off and the hours are as per site roster 10.5-hour day, 10 hours paid with an unpaid meal break of no less than 30 minutes and two 20-minute paid rest breaks.

You will be based at the camp village, which includes free Wi‑Fi, gym and recreational facilities. All flights, meals and accommodation are provided while working on site.

Must live locally to Toowoomba

Assistant Facility Manager Position

Assistant Facility Manager role is as a Utility (Cleaner/Kitchenhand) during the first week of the swing. During the Camp Managers R&R the Assistant Facility Manager steps up to maintain the Camp in the Managers absence.

Required

• Some experience in managing/supervising staff.
