Job summary

Little Lane Early Learning Manly is seeking dedicated staff to join our caring team. Hold a Cert 3 or Diploma in Children’s services, with First Aid/CPR and NSW Working with Children Check.

You’ll support learning, supervise safety, and foster strong relationships with families and colleagues in a welcoming, multicultural setting. We offer 4–5 day week shifts, ongoing professional development, and a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Hold a Cert 3 or Diploma in Children’s services or be willing to study.
• Hold first aid and CPR.
• Hold a current Working with Children's Check (NSW).
• Understand EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Follow policies and procedures and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, record and evaluate children’s learning and development.
• Provide active supervision to ensure safety and well‑being.
• Follow an age‑appropriate routine to help children settle in.
• Build bonds with children, families and staff while supporting routines.

Little Lane Early Learning Manly is a 186-place service educating children from 6 weeks to 6 years, across 14 rooms. Our service is very multicultural, with numerous nationalities represented in the staffing and families who attend our service.

Little Lane Early Learning Centrewill be providing the highest quality education and care programs to children aged between birth and school age, living in and around the local area.

The opportunity

The successful applicant/s will need to be able to adapt to change, be flexible, and learn the rooms routine, while developing bonds with the children, families and staff of the service.

We believe in consistency of staff and do require educators that can work 4 or 5 days a week, filling different shifts between 7am to 6.00pm, ideally the successful candidate/s will have hold their Cert 3 or Diploma, or willing to study, be able to work with any age group and work with many different personalities. This position will be Full time or Permanent Part Time (37.5 to 38 hours a week only).

About you:

Hold a Cert 3 or Diploma in Children’s services or be willing to Study.

Hold first aid and CPR.

Hold a current Working with Children's Check.

Have a good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

Able to follow policies and procedures.

Skills & requirements

Must hold a Diploma or ECT qualification

A current and valid Working with Children's Check (New South Wales)

A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

A current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

Proficient in oral and written communication

Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to build rapport with families, colleagues, stakeholders and members of the community)

Duties

To provide an age appropriate routine that allows children to settle into the Centre and separate confidently and comfortably from their family.
