Job summary

The ACT Office of Industrial Relations and Workforce Strategy, within the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate, is seeking a Senior Officer Grade C in Canberra. You will provide leadership, and deliver programs aligned with government priorities while fostering strong stakeholder relationships to support the ACT Public Service to meet its obligations and potential.

Details: The Office of Industrial Relations and Workforce Strategy is looking to fill a key role in the Public Sector Policy and Integrity Group.

You will work in a collaborative team, delivering programs that align with government priorities and support the ACTPS to meet its obligations and full potential. You will provide leadership, and contribute to the strategic priorities of the Branch, as a skilled stakeholder relationship builder, able to adapt to emerging issues and priorities.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

• This position does not require a pre-employment medical.
• Driver's Licence (Class C) is not essential.
• This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.

Note: This is a temporary position available for up to 12 months with the possibility of permanency.

A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.

Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.

This position is located in a workplace designated for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.

Note: Under the ACTPS employment framework you may be placed in another role where required for the efficient administration of the service.
