The Australian Electoral Commission seeks an Assistant Director, Wellbeing to lead the development and delivery of the agency’s wellbeing strategy, programs and initiatives. You will provide strategic advice to senior leaders, coordinate rehabilitation and return-to-work processes, and promote a healthy, safe and productive workplace across the agency.

Reporting to the Director of Safety, Wellbeing, Inclusion and Enterprise Bargaining, you will work within the People Branch to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Experience delivering workplace wellbeing, mental health and psychosocial risk management programs.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary wellbeing, psychological health and psychosocial risk practices.
• Experience applying rehabilitation, workers’ compensation and employment frameworks to provide practical advice.
• Understanding of APS employment and governance frameworks.
• Ability to analyse workforce data and translate insights into actions.
• Discretion in managing sensitive employee matters.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and delivery of the AEC’s wellbeing strategy, programs and initiatives.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leaders and collaborate across the agency to enhance wellbeing.
• Coordinate rehabilitation, early intervention and workers’ compensation case management, ensuring timely return to work outcomes.
• Support safe, sustainable and productive workforce performance and a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, Rehabilitation and Employment frameworks and governance requirements.

Formation

Qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology, Organisational Development, Health Promotion, Rehabilitation, Work Health and Safety, Social Sciences or a related discipline
