Job summary

The Health and Community Services Directorate is seeking an Assistant Director, Sector Stakeholder Engagement to lead engagement with the health, grant management and NGO sectors. You will design innovative ways of working with stakeholders and support policy and program teams with a risk-based funding approach across the Directorate.

Qualifications

• An understanding of ACT Government procurement legislation and procurement and grants policies and frameworks are highly desirable.
• Experience in grant management and NGO sector engagement would be advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design innovative ways of working with the health and community sector.
• Provide risk-based funding guidance across the Directorate for policy and program teams.
• Oversee development, monitoring and reporting on funded contracts and programs.
• Provide operational advice on contract management and stakeholder relationship management.
