Job summary

Canberra Health Services is seeking an experienced revenue professional to lead data quality, compliance and training within Patient Accounts. You’ll be part of the Patient Accounts leadership team and report to the Director, Patient Accounts.

Your teams will make sure patient and provider data is accurate. They will also keep revenue activity compliant with Medicare, NHRA and other legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare finance, revenue or related fields.
• Experience writing procedures, training materials, and operational documentation.
• Track record in data integrity, compliance or quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with advanced Excel.
• Experience with CHS systems, including PBRC IE and DHR.

About The Role

You’ll be part of the Patient Accounts leadership team and report to the Director, Patient Accounts. Your teams will make sure patient and provider data is accurate. They will also keep revenue activity compliant with Medicare, NHRA and other legislative requirements. Through training and clear procedures, you’ll help staff across the health service get revenue processes right the first time.

What You’ll Do

• Lead teams working on revenue data management, compliance and training.

What You’ll Bring

• Knowledge of Medicare, NHRA and public hospital billing requirements.
• Experience leading or supervising staff in healthcare, revenue or finance.
• Experience writing procedures, training materials and operational documentation.
• A track record in data integrity, compliance or quality assurance work.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, including advanced Excel.
• Experience with CHS systems, including PBRC IE and DHR, is essential.
• The ability to communicate clearly and work well with clinical, corporate and external stakeholders.

Experience with system enhancement projects or process improvement in healthcare revenue would be an advantage.
