Job summary

ACT Government is seeking an Assistant Director to deliver public housing projects across several programs. You will manage a portfolio of design and construction initiatives, including complex multi-unit developments, while supporting the Director to meet program targets and priorities.

You will collaborate within the Infrastructure Delivery team, coordinating with Directors and delivery staff to achieve high-quality outcomes and may lead a small team to provide day-to-day guidance and

Qualifications

• Qualifications in a relevant technical field and/or building trades certification with significant project management experience.
• Hold a professional qualification in Engineering, Architecture or Project Management, or accreditation with a recognised body.
• Have significant building or infrastructure knowledge and/or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver public housing projects across multiple programs and manage a portfolio of design and/or construction projects.
• Support the Director to achieve program delivery targets and operational priorities.
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure Delivery team and mentor/lead delivery staff where required.
