About the Role

As Assistant Director, you will support the Centre Director in managing the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and fostering a positive, nurturing environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with leadership and guidance of educators to deliver engaging programs.
• Supporting the Centre Director with compliance, administration, and operational tasks.
• Building strong and respectful relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Stepping into the Centre Director role when required.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, inclusivity, and quality care.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• ACECQA-approved Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Previous experience in a leadership or 2IC role within Early Childhood.
• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Current First Aid and CPR
• National Child Safety Training Certificate (GECCKO)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team.
• A passion for creating safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments.
