Job summary

C&K Childcare & Kindergarten is seeking an Assistant Director to support the Centre Director and oversee daily operations at ngundanoo Community Childcare Centre in Queensland. The role balances hands-on child engagement with leadership and centre management responsibilities.

You will split time between teaching support across rooms and office-based administration, planning and operations, while upholding child safety policies and ensuring high-quality early learning experiences for children and

Qualifications

• Must be Diploma in Early Childhood qualified.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check current
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
• Completion of Foundations of Child Safety training (Geccko).

Responsibilities

• Three days each week floating across our rooms, supporting educators and connecting with children.
• Two days each week in the office, assisting with administration, planning and centre operations.
