Job summary

The Department of Treasury and Finance is seeking an Assistant Director, Digital Experience Services in Adelaide to lead a team delivering secure and reliable digital products used by the community daily, including SA.GOV.AU, online transactions, the mySAGov app and digital identity services.

You will shape digital experiences through collaboration with government partners, drive new features and initiatives, and oversee service planning, governance and budgets to improve user outcomes across SA

• Lead the direction and continuous improvement of high-profile digital services that support millions of interactions between the South Australian community and government.
• Drive the delivery of new features, enhancements and digital initiatives, ensuring services remain secure, reliable and responsive to user needs.
• Lead a high-performing team of subject matter experts in web content and design, online forms, automation and workflows and mobile app development.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and technology partners to shape practical solutions and achieve meaningful outcomes.
• Use data, insights and customer feedback to guide decision-making, measure success and improve the user experience across digital products.
• Play a key leadership role in advancing the government's digital strategy, while overseeing service planning, governance, budgets and operational performance.

As the Assistant Director, Digital Experience Services, you will lead the delivery of secure and reliable digital products used by the community every day, including SA.GOV.AU, online transactions, the mySAGov app and digital identity services. Working across government, you will help shape digital experiences that make it easier for people and businesses to access personalised, user-focused services.
