YMCA Peaks Crossing Outside School Hours Care is seeking an Assistant Coordinator to support daily running, lead programming and guide a team to deliver safe, fun care for children. This permanent part-time role offers meaningful community work in a not-for-profit environment with opportunities for development.

You’ll work with the Coordinator, engage with children, families and schools, ensure compliance, and contribute to a positive, inclusive service aligned with the National Quality

Formación

• Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or studying towards).
• Demonstrated experience in children’s programming and administration.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
• Familiarity with the National Quality Framework.

About the role

We are seeking a capable and motivated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at YMCA Peaks Crossing Outside School Hours Care on a permanent part time basis. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Coordinator with day-to-day operations, lead programming, and help guide a passionate team in delivering safe, fun, and enriching care for children.
