Job summary

Elm Tree Early Learning Ormeau is seeking a passionate Assistant Centre Manager to support the Centre Director and lead a team of educators in delivering thoughtful, child-centred care. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming learning environment and foster strong relationships with families.

The role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, experience in leadership, and a solid understanding of EYLF and NQS.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) is required.
• Experience supporting or leading a team in an ECEC setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and relevant legislation.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) current and valid.

Responsibilities

• Assist in guiding the day-to-day operation of the centre.
• Support a team of educators to deliver child-centred practice.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
