Job summary

nib Dental Melbourne is offering a full-time Assistant Centre Leader position in our 10-chair CBD practice, delivering general dentistry including implants, surgical extractions and orthodontics.

You will support the Centre Leader, work hands-on chairside, in reception and sterilisation, and lead the dental assistants. The role provides career growth within a dynamic, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Strong dental industry experience (leadership experience ideal).
• Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting (or equivalent).
• Confidence motivating and supporting a team.
• Willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Reliability, excellent communication, and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Stock Control: Assist with ordering within budget.
• Reporting: Support financial tasks and daily reconciliations.
• Rostering: Support staff scheduling.
• Team Leadership: Train, guide and motivate the DA team.
• Patient Experience: Deliver warm, professional patient care.
• Clinical Compliance: Maintain adherence to regulations and practice policies.
