Pacific Smiles Group, nib Dental Melbourne partner centre, seeks an Assistant Centre Leader for a full-time role in a 10-chair practice. You’ll lead the DA team, stay chairside, handle reception and sterilisation, and support daily operations to enhance patient experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a dental team is preferred.
• Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and reliability for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support Centre Leader while chairside, in reception and sterilisation.
• Lead DA team; train, guide, and motivate staff.
• Assist with daily operations, rostering, and patient experience.
• Ensure clinical compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Contribute to budgeting, stock control and reconciliations.

Here's your chance to step into an Assistant Centre Leader position at our nib Dental Melbourne partner centre. In this permanent role, you'll support the Centre Leader while remaining hands-on chairside, in reception and in sterilisation. Full-time position 10-chair practice delivering general dentistry, dental implants, surgical extractions and orthodontics.

Perfectly located in the centre of the CBD, a 5 minute walk from Flinders Street station and 15 minutes from Southern Cross, with early bird parking available nearby. Support the Centre Leader and lead dental assistants. Contribute to daily operations and patient experience. Enjoy an inclusive, dynamic team environment where working together is key.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Stock Control: Assist with ordering within budget


• Reporting: Support financial tasks and daily reconciliations


• Rostering: Support staff scheduling


• Team Leadership: Train, guide, and motivate the DA team


• Patient Experience: Deliver warm, professional patient care


• Clinical Compliance: Maintain adherence to regulations and practice policies
