Guardian Mt Barker is seeking an Assistant Centre Director to support Centre leadership, uphold the highest standards of learning and care, and nurture strong relationships with families. You will collaborate with the Centre Director and educators to drive quality, safety, and program development, with clear pathways for professional growth through Guardian’s Degree program.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Children’s Services or Education.
• Senior/leadership experience in long day-care.
• Solid knowledge and implementation of the NQF and EYLF.
• Budget and financial accountability experience.
• Current First Aid and Working with Children Check.

• Support the Centre Leadership Team to create a safe, secure learning environment for children.
• Build lasting relationships with families to keep them informed and involved.
• Support the Centre Leadership Team to develop a culture of quality and safety in the centre.

The Centre

To be considered, you will have:

• A completed Diploma in Children's Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or working towards)
• Prior experience working in a long day-care centre in a senior or leadership role.
• Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.
• Budget and financial accountability experience
• Current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and current Working with Children check.
