Kogan.com is seeking a proactive Marketplace professional to grow our Marketplace offering in Australia. You will own promotions, run key sale events, and work with Marketing to maximize on-site opportunities.

You’ll analyze performance, optimize pricing and listings, and guide Category Managers on demand and supply. This role offers ownership, fast pace, and significant impact within a leading ASX-listed eCommerce business.

Responsabilités

• Own the Marketplace promotional calendar and ensure timely launches.
• Set up, schedule and QA campaigns and promotions.
• Run major sale events (Click Frenzy, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day, EOFY).
• Collaborate with Marketing on creative, EDM and site placements; coordinate seller participation.
• Report on promotion performance and lead post-event reviews.
• Manage promotional pricing and discount uploads for Category Managers.
• Audit the catalogue and sellers to spot underperformers and fast growers.
• Advise Category Managers on demand, supply and marketability.
• Identify and implement process improvements across Kogan Marketplace.

We're looking for a proactive, commercially minded and outcomes-driven individual to help shape and grow our Marketplace offering. While direct Marketplace experience isn’t essential, a genuine interest in online retail, strong commercial instincts and a drive to uncover growth opportunities will set you up for success. This position suits an ambitious and commercially focused Category/Marketplace professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to contribute to the continued expansion of our Marketplace business. In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Own the Marketplace promotional calendar: planning, coordination and making sure everything goes live on time.
• Set up, schedule and QA campaigns and promotions so they’re accurate and delivered on time.
• Run our biggest sale events, including Click Frenzy, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Boxing Day and EOFY, plus ad-hoc events.
• Work with our central Marketing team on creative, EDM and onsite placements, and coordinate seller participation in marketing opportunities.
• Report on promotion performance and lead post-event reviews so each campaign beats the last.
• Manage promotional pricing and discount uploads for the Category Managers.
• Audit the catalogue (titles, images, categorisation and Kogan First) and audit sellers to spot underperformers and fast growers.
• Advise Category Managers on demand, supply and the marketability of products.
• Find and implement process improvements across Kogan Marketplace.

To be successful in this role, you should be:

• University Degree qualified in a relevant field (Business, Commerce, Marketing etc)
• Commercially savvy, with demonstrated experience and success within a commercial role, preferably within Category Management in a Retail or eCommerce environment
• Highly analytical and logical, and always looking for new areas of opportunity
• Able to develop strong relationships, through excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Have developed exceptional time management skills, being able to effectively manage multiple projects and timelines successfully
• Tech savvy and able to use various IT and cloud-based tools to improve efficiency and productivity
• Ready to challenge, be challenged, and work within our highly disruptive business model
