Starbucks Australia in Melbourne is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach a high performing team, and deliver the Starbucks Experience. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager, managing 38 hours per week in a busy, customer‑facing environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in a customer‑facing role.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• The ability to lead effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in store leadership roles, ideally within the hospitality or quick service restaurant sector.
• Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance.
• Exposure to rostering, budgets, and profit & loss (P&L) reports.
• A proven ability to develop teams and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.
