Job summary

Bendigo Bank in Gin Gin is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead the team, coach staff, and oversee branch operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences while meeting growth targets. The permanent, full-time role is based in Gin Gin with a 76-hour fortnight roster.

You will mentor team members, develop staff, manage lending product knowledge and compliance, and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders to support sustainable local growth.

  • Experience in personal and residential lending
  • Extensive experience in customer service or sales
  • Strong communication skills to deliver clear branch expectations
  • Natural people leadership capabilities and a desire to mentor and develop staff
  • High level of understanding of lending products, policies and regulations
  • Ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and team members quickly, assess their needs and a develop a holistic view of their situation

What you’ll bring to the role
