Job summary

Zenviron is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the Finance Team in Newcastle, NSW. You will support day-to-day financial operations, process invoices, assist with reconciliations and contribute to improvements across finance systems and processes.

Based in Newcastle, you will work with internal stakeholders, suppliers, subcontractors and customers to ensure accurate financial information while helping deliver Zenviron's renewable energy projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Previous experience in administration, accounts, bookkeeping or finance.
• Well-developed Excel and business systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable processing and supplier payment administration.
• Customer invoicing, accounts receivable and collections support.
• Daily bank reconciliations and investigation of reconciling items.
• Support month-end accounting activities, account reconciliations and financial reporting processes.
• Maintain fixed asset, bank guarantee and supplier records, including compliance documentation.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and obtain financial information.
