Job summary

Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) seeks a qualified Asset Strategy Engineer to join our Eagle Farm team on a permanent full-time basis. You will analyse capacity data, forecast demand and develop plans to optimise AGIG Group’s assets.

Reporting to the Team Lead Asset Planning, you will help shape future network design, lifecycle management and CAPEX planning to meet customer growth and reliability targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post graduate experience in gas or utilities engineering or related fields.
• Experience in managing stakeholder expectations to deliver projects within timeframes.
• Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Network Capacity Management and design optimisation based on customer growth.
• Develop business cases for augmentation projects to meet customer demands.
• Develop asset life cycle plans, asset management and CAPEX plans.
• Contribute to capital expenditure plans for annual and five-year programs.
• Develop asset strategies balancing cost, risk and performance.
