Job summary

JBS Australia is seeking an Asset Reliability Coordinator to lead maintenance strategy, planning and asset performance at the Caroona site. Reporting to the Feedlot Manager, you will drive reliability, minimise downtime and ensure compliance across maintenance activities.

You will oversee a high-performing team, utilize SAP for planning, and champion continuous improvement to support long-term asset reliability and production outcomes.

Qualifications

• Maintenance leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong SAP/CMMS knowledge and asset reliability understanding.
• Knowledge of WHS, compliance and risk management.
• Trade qualification preferred (mechanical or electrical).
• Experience in agriculture, livestock or food production preferred.
• Exposure to FeedSafe, LPA or QA systems preferred.

About the Role

JBS Caroona is seeking a detail-oriented Asset Reliability Coordinator to provide leadership across maintenance, asset performance, and operational reliability. Reporting to the Feedlot Manager, this role is responsible for driving maintenance strategies that maximise equipment performance and minimise downtime, while ensuring site infrastructure, resources, and maintenance activities are managed safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance requirements.

Working closely with operational teams, the successful candidate will lead and develop a high-performing maintenance team, oversee planning and execution through SAP, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that support production outcomes and long-term asset reliability.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will bring:

• Maintenance leadership experience in a feedlot, feed mill or industrial environment
• Strong SAP/CMMS and asset reliability knowledge
• Proven leadership, communication and team development skills
• Solid understanding of WHS, compliance and risk management
• Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification (preferred)
• Experience in agriculture, livestock or food production (preferred)
• Exposure to FeedSafe, LPA or QA systems (preferred)
