Job summary

KBR Australia is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to join the asset optimisation team in Sydney. You will report to the Engineering Manager and provide risk-based technical advice to sustainment optimization activities.

This is a full-time role requiring a Baseline Defence Security Clearance. The successful candidate will lead data cleansing, asset optimisation tasks, and collaborate with engineers to refine designs, maintenance strategies, and cost-effective reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• RAM and FMECA experience in engineering projects.
• RCM and LORA analysis in complex systems.
• Strong ability to translate needs into engineering specs and to ensure compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset optimisation activities across programs and schedules.
• Drive data cleansing, validation, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies with the Engineering Manager.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to refine maintenance strategies and costs.
• Ensure governance and documentation standards are upheld across the program.
