Job summary

Morson Edge Australia in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee a growing portfolio of utility-scale battery storage assets, driving operational performance, commercial outcomes and long-term asset value.

You will coordinate O&M contractors and service agreements, optimise OPEX and outages, ensure safety and compliance, and partner with trading, engineering and commercial teams to shape the asset operations strategy as the portfolio expands.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset operations or management across BESS, renewables, power generation or major electrical infrastructure
• Strong commercial, contractual and contractor-management skills
• Understanding of HV infrastructure, operational safety and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with the Australian NEM and energy trading interfaces
• A proactive, commercially minded leader who can challenge service providers and make informed owner-side decisions
