Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group in Narre Warren invites applications from an experienced Asset Management Planner to support a local council's Asset Planning team on a short-term assignment. The role centers on asset management planning, data analysis and reporting across council infrastructure assets.

The successful candidate will contribute to asset lifecycle planning, data accuracy improvements and stakeholder reporting, applying asset management principles in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Asset Management, Infrastructure Planning or related field.
• Understanding of asset management principles and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Local Government experience is highly regarded.
• Relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in Asset Management or Engineering.

$53 per hour + Super

Full-Time Hours | 4-Week Assignment

We are seeking an experienced Asset Management Plannerto support a local council's Asset Planning team on a short-term assignment based in Narre Warren.

This role will assist with asset management planning, data analysis and reporting across a range of council infrastructure assets.

• Support Council's Asset Management Framework and related planning activities.
• Assist with asset lifecycle planning and condition assessment programs.
• Analyse asset data and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain asset registers and improve data accuracy.
• Respond to asset-related enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with long-term asset and capital planning initiatives.

About You

• Experience in Asset Management, Infrastructure Planning, Engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of asset management principles and frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Local Government experience is highly regarded.
• Relevant qualification or demonstrated experience in Asset Management or Engineering.

Requirements

• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
• National Police Check.
• Working with Children Check.
